When you want to create a website, there are two major things you need to secure:
A Domain Name gives you a unique Internet address, e.g. mywebsite.com, that makes it easy for people to view your website online.
Having a website design is not enough. All servers , where the website files are stored, are identified with an Internet Protocol (IP) address, which are all numbers, e.g. 120.50.40.40. However, we don’t want to tell our friends to visit our website at http://120.50.40.40 — because that’s too tedious — so we use Domain Names.
With a domain name, you can uniquely identify yourself and share your website address with people more conveniently.
Even if the web design service is only a one-time payment, you need to annually pay for the domain registration to keep it active under your name.
Web Design service does not need to be renewed. It is a one-time payment service which is completed as soon as your final website is published live. But, take note that the domain name included in your Web Design plan will have to be consistently renewed, so you don’t lose your professionally designed website.

We also strongly suggest that you enable Auto Renewal for all your domains and services so you don’t risk losing your website or causing your website any downtime. This avoids losing Domain Ownership (or risk it falling into Redemption) and the suspension of its connected services.
