Vodien allows you to host Multiple Domains in both our Web Hosting and Business Hosting plans.
Hosting Multiple Domains under your Web or Business Hosting plan means that you’ve acquired Add-on Domains for your account.
Web Hosting Plans
The number of Add-on Domains allowed in your hosting account depends on the type of Web Hosting plan you have. See the list below for reference:
- webValue – 4
- webPlus – 9
- webExpert – 14
- webElite – 29
- webUltimate – 44
Or, you can simply add unlimited Subdomains to your Web Hosting account.
For example: mySubdomain1.vodien.com, mySubdomain2.vodien.com
Business Hosting Plans
Just like the Web Hosting plans, the number of Add-on Domains allowed in your account depends on the type of Business Hosting plan you have. See the list below for reference:
- bizValue – 4
- bizPlus – 9
- bizExpert – 19
- bizElite – 29
- bizUltimate – 39
For VPS and Dedicated Hosting plans, you can have an unlimited number of Add-on Domains.
Note: The Add-on Domains sharing one Hosting account will also share the corresponding total disk space allocated to your plan. Having too many Add-on Domains under a single Hosting account may affect the Web Hosting quality of your account.
Can I host the web pages for a domain that’s different from my main account?
Yes. This type of service is called Add-On Domain, where you can specify which folder you want the web pages to be served from. It can be different from your main website and you can also have it redirected to one of the web pages of your main site.
Can I point all my domains to the same main website?
Yes. This type of service is called Domain Parking. You will not be able to choose the folder from which the web pages should be served from. It is set to your main website by default.
If you want our support department to handle these Domain Add-on or Domain Parking services, send us an email with the following details:
- Your Main Domain Name
- Your Add-on/Parking Domain Name
- Domain Add-on/Domain Parking (Specify which of these two actions you wish to be done.)
Note: For Add-on Domain, a domain.ext folder will be created automatically in your public_html folder. Your website files will be served from that folder.
