PHP Info Page is a view of all the current PHP information for your server. You can use this to determine which modules needs changes on values or enabled or which ones you don’t need and have to disable.
This file shows a large amount of information:
- PHP compilation options and extensions
- PHP version
- Server information and environment (if compiled as a module)
- PHP environment
- PHP License
Here’s how to create a PHP Info page:
Step 1. Log in to the cPanel using this link format: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel
Replace yourdomain.com with the Main Domain Name connected to your hosting.
Step 2. Click File Manager under the Files panel.
Step 3. Double click on ‘public_html’.
Step 4. Click +File.
Step 5. Name the file as ‘info.php’ or ‘phpinfo.php’. Click Create New File.
Step 6. Right-click on the file and choose Edit.
Step 7. Type or paste this code:
// Show all information, defaults to INFO_ALL
Step 8. Click Save Changes.
Once this is done, you may go to your PHP Info Page by going to yourdomain.com/info.php or yourdomain.com/phpinfo.php. Replace yourdomain.com with your own domain name.
