Having your full backup of your files will allow you to restore data in case of system failures. This will give you a peace of mind in cases something happens out of the blue. These backups can be stored on your local computer, portable drives, or cloud drives (if they allow).
Here are the steps on how to you can generate a full backup via cPanel:
Step 1. Log in to the cPanel using this link format: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
Replace yourdomain.com with the Main Domain Name connected to your hosting.
Step 2. Click Backup Wizard under Files panel.
Step 3. Under Back/Restore tab, click Backup.
Step 4. Click Full Backup under Full or Partial Backup tab.
Step 5. Choose your preferred location where your full backup should be saved. We recommend Home Directory for ease of access. Enter your email address, if you opt to get a notification once the backup is done.
Step 6. Click Generate Backup.
Once backup is done, if you didn’t opt to get any notifications, you can locate your full backup on your Home Directory and download it from there. Another way to create a backup is via JetBackup if you have Web Hosting or Business Hosting packages.
