How To Get Started with Email Hosting

Web hosting, business hosting, and website builder plans come with email hosting. You can use your registered domain name to create your professional email addresses. If you own the registration of yourdomain.com, you can create email addresses such as admin@yourdomain.com, user@yourdmomain.com, among others.

This guide is what you need to learn about Vodien email hosting including:

Connecting Your Domain to Email Hosting

If either your domain name or email hosting is hosted by another provider, you need to manually connect your domain to your emails. The same thing goes if you just changed providers. Follow this link to connect your domain to email hosting.

Creating Email Accounts

Once you have connected your domain to your hosting, you can then access your hosting control panel and start creating email addresses.

Before you can start sending emails using your professional address, you have to create an email account first. Click the link below to create an email account.

Accessing Email Accounts

Even if you want to access your emails on your preferred email software or email client, it is best to test the email accounts first by accessing them on webmail. This ensures that the email hosting is working properly and is set up correctly to the domain name.

Once the email hosting is proven to be working properly, you can then set up your emails by scrolling through the subtopics below this.

Take note of the email server settings below. These are the settings you need to set up your emails on your desktop applications, printers, or email mobile apps.

Setting up Email Accounts on Desktop

Any changes to the email accounts or email hosting need to be synchronised to the email settings of your email software. If your emails stop working on these email clients, try to access the email via webmail to rule out where the problem is.
