An easy way to of accessing your phpMyAdmin without having the need to access the cPanel is through a phpMyAdmin URL connected to your domain name. This way, you can give the URL to any user or developer together with the database credentials, so they can make changes from there.
Here are the steps on how to install phpMyAdmin via Softaculous:
Step 1. Log in to the cPanel using this link format: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
Replace yourdomain.com with the Main Domain Name connected to your hosting.
Step 2. Click Softaculous Apps Installer under Software panel.
Step 3. Search for phpMyAdmin on the search bar. Click on phpMyAdmin.
Step 4. Click Install Now.
Step 5. Choose the domain name and the directory where you want to install phpMyAdmin.
Note: Under Advanced Options, you have these options:

Once it is installed, you can then provide the link: http://yourdomain.com/phpmyadmin to a user or developer to start managing your database. The credentials they need are the following:
- Database username
- Database password
This is best if you don’t want any user or developer to access your cPanel. If you haven’t created a database yet, click the guided link on How to Create a Database User or How to Create a Database.
