PrestaShop is an e-commerce-based website application that you can use for your online store.
An easy way to install it is through the cPanel (Control Panel) via Softaculous Apps Installer. However, if you don’t have access to the Control Panel or Vodien Account Manager, PrestaShop can still be installed via FTP. Follow the instructions below on how to install it.

Step 1. Access the PrestaShop download page.
Step 2. Enter the details needed on the first two boxes highlighted below and check the last two ones.
Step 3. Click the Download button to start the download.
Step 4. Wait for the download to finish.
Step 5. Locate the file on your computer and extract the compressed file.
Step 6. From your computer, upload all files and folders inside the prestashop_1.7.7.0 folder to your web hosting server. You can follow this link to see how to upload files and folders to FTP client.
Step 7. Access your website’s domain or subdomain on the web browser without the HTTP.
Step 8. Wait for the installation to complete.
Step 9. Choose your preferred language from the drop-down and click the Next button to proceed to the next page.
Step 10. Tick the box to agree to the terms and conditions and click the Next button to proceed.
Step 11. Meet and fix the required PHP parameters. The Next button is greyed out until those PHP parameters are satisfied.
Step 12. Click the Refresh information button if changes are made to the PHP extensions then click the Next button to proceed.
Step 13. Enter the Store information details in each box. Necessary fields are indicated with an asterisk on the right side of each box. Click the Next button once all required fields are filled out.
Step 14. Enter the database details on the necessary fields highlighted below. These details can be obtained from your web hosting server when the database was created. The rest of the boxes can be left as they are. The database connection can be tested by clicking the Test your database connection now! button.
Step 15. Click the Next button to proceed.
Step 16. Wait until the successful installation message shows. As stated on the page, delete the install folder among the website files before accessing the administration area. This folder can be deleted via FTP or the File Manager in your web hosting server.
