This article is intended for email accounts that are using Microsoft Exchange. However if you want to use IMAP or POP3, you may do so. Please take note that you will not be able to enjoy the Office 365 features with IMAP and POP3 setup. Learn how to set up Microsoft Exchange on iPhone mobile device by following the instructions below.
Set up Microsoft Exchange on iPhone

Step 1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
Step 2. Under Settings tap Mail.
Step 3. Tap Accounts.
Step 4. Select Add Account.
Step 5. Select Exchange.
Step 6. Enter the exchange email address, password, and description. Tap Next and wait for the device to verify the account. Once verified you will be redirected for more settings screen.
Step 7. Enter the following settings:
Email: your exchange email address
Domain: leave this blank as this is optional
Server: outlook.office365.com
Username: your complete exchange email address
Password: your email password
Step 8. Tap Save. You are now signed into your Microsoft Exchange account with Outlook for your iPhone and start using Office 365.
Set up Microsoft Exchange with Outlook on iPhone
Step 1. Install Outlook via App Store. If you already have one, proceed to step 2.
Step 2. Open Outlook from your mobile device.
Step 3. For first time users, tap Get Started.
If you are adding this as another account, tap Settings (gear icon).
Tap “Add Account”.
Step 4. Enter the Microsoft Exchange email address and tap “Add Account”.
Step 5. This will be detected as an Office 365 account. Enter the exchange email password and tap “Sign in”.
Step 6. The exchange account is successfully added in Outlook for your iPhone. You will be asked if you want to add another email account. You may select “Maybe Later” if you do not have another account to add or select “Let’s Do It” and go through all the procedures again.
