How to Fix Too Many Connections from IP Error

When connecting to your web space using different FTP clients from different computers and/or networks, you may experience getting errors or IP address getting blocked. Don’t worry if this happens you can rectify this error any time.

Here are the instructions on how to fix this error:

Step 1. Log in to your cPanel using this link format: http://yourdomain.com/cpanel/
Replace yourdomain.com with the Main Domain Name connected to your hosting.
Step 2. Click FTP Connections under Files panel.

Step 3Under Current Connections you’ll see a list of your connections. Under Actions click Disconnect.
You may need to click Disconnect a few more times to remove the connection.

Once the connections has been cleared out, disconnect your FTP first before you try to log in again. If you still have troubles, we recommend to contact our Support Team as soon as possible.

You can also change the maximum simultaneous transfers. This can be done using FileZilla. Here are the steps:

Step 1. Open FileZilla.
Step 2. Click Edit menu, choose Settings.
Step 3Click Transfers.
Step 4. Under Concurrent transfer, you may enter 10 for the Maximum simultaneous transfers, and click OK.

Please don’t hesitate to contact our 24/7 Singapore or Australia Support Team if you have further questions.
